The ‘Holy-Grail’ on Amazon is to hit 1,000+ reviews.  Your conversion rate boosts, and you likely will sit on Page 1 for a long time – this is where the $$ is at.  If you want to get there as fast as possible, you will need to implement these strategies. 

The more competitive the keyword, the more aggressive you will need to be.

The Amazon A9 ranking algorithm is based most heavily on 180-day sales history, conversion rate and organic sales.


This is the strategy that the savviest Amazon sellers use to fast-track to page 1:

  • Keep the price as low as possible (on sale) t
    • This keeps SALES VELOCITY HIGH (this means high organic ranking), and gathers as many reviews as possible a fast as possible. 
  • Run lots of giveaway campaigns 
    • This keeps your sales velocity & conversion rate HIGH, which results in higher organic ranking & more reviews.

      • Facebook/Instagram ads
  • Invest all sales $$ back into Amazon ads.
    • This means break-even or stay in the red for as long as possible until organic ranking is on Page 1 for big keywords (your competitors are doing this strategy).

    • Start with $50-100/day per parent ASIN
    • Sponsored Brands
    • Sponsored Display (advertise on competitor’s listings)

    • Integrate the charity aspect

    • Use an intermediary landing page like ManyChat or Pixelfy to make sure shoppers who click through will BUY
    • Use ‘search-find-buy’ or a keyword-URL to boost ranking for target keywords
  • Reviews: get as many as possible. 
    • Turn on Jungle Scout review request automation
    • Send follow up emails using Amazon’s new strict templates (inside Jungle Scout)

  • Use clippable coupons (the green badge)
  • Experiment with lowering and raising the price to get the new red sale badge
