Wondering how to get on the phone with someone at Amazon? They make it tricky, but it’s possible. Here’s how.
How to call Amazon Seller Support:
- In the lower-left of the page you’re on, click Help > then click Get Support
- Or, just save this link to visit directly https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/support/SOA
- Click on Products, Listings, or Inventory (or relevant issue) > Trouble Adding a Product
- Click ‘Contact us’ below.
- Try another issue if you don’t see this
- Click Phone, then enter your phone number.
- Tick Urgent
- Click Call Me Now
- They will call you within a few minutes.
Reasons to do this:
I recommend calling them when you need to fix something urgently, or if you haven’t heard back about an important case within 48 hours. In general, it tends to get things done quicker – however, some things they just can’t help you with, and you just have to wait.
- You need to fix something urgently.
- Troubleshoot an issue.
- To expedite a case that you don’t hear back about within 48 hours.
Tips for dealing with them on the phone:
- Ask nicely.
- If they insist that they can’t help you, call back and try again with someone new.
- If they still can’t help, ask nicely to escalate it to a manager.
- Make sure they create a new case and note a summary of your conversation for the record. They will usually do this by default, but just ask to make sure.
More Tips
- They don’t accept phone #’s from all countries. Have your overseas VA or assistant sign up for a virtual number with Google Voice or a Skype Number to get around this.
